Welcome To The Punch

We've taking some body blows on this one... and this heavyweight creative sequence has gone the full 12 rounds. Even when we were against the ropes near to the final bell, Ben Pugh and Rory Aitken hit us with an upper cut to create a simple ident for their production company to go ahead of the titles. It landed right Between The Eyes.

We are now at finishing stages on Welcome to the Punch and boy does it pack one. The main title sequence is now all done and in situ and the end title sequence is being delivered to the films VFX Editor Ian Cunningham in the DI suite at Molinare today.

The film is Eran Creevy's second feature following on from the Brit thriller Shifty, which was nominated for Outstanding British Debut at the 2010 Baftas. This new action thriller shot in London's Canary Wharf, is about a London detective (James McAvoy) and an ex-criminal (Mark Strong), who become involved in high-level conspiracy.

Whilst filming last summer, Eran took time out to tell Big Screen about the film. He said "I want to do a French Connection, or a Heat, an Infernal Affairs, Hard Boiled-style film, but set in London". Well I can assure you it's exactly that and sure to be a knock out.

So without giving you the final result, we have selected a few still from our creative blows for you to see:
