Work begins on a new sequence for us this week, as we are really delighted to announce we have been appointed the title sequence for 'The Two Faces of January'.
Based on the classic 1964 novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith, the thriller has been written and directed by screenwriter Hossein Amini in his directorial debut. Starring Viggo Mortensen (Appaloosa, A History of Violence), Kirsten Dunst (Spider-man, Marie Antoinette) and Oscar Issac (Drive, Body of Lies), the film has been produced out of Working Title (Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner) along with Thomas Sternberg (Apocalypse Now and The Talented Mr. Ripley) and Robyn Slovo (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).
'The Two Faces of January' tells the story of an American couple Chester MacFarland (Mortensen) and his wife Colette (Dunst) who while touring Greece in 1962, meet Rydal (Isaac) a tour guide at the Acropolis scamming tourists in the process. Inviting Rydal to dinner one night at their hotel, Chester presses him to help move an unconscious body which eventually leads him to get caught up in ensuing events.
We are very much looking forward to working on this and sharing our progress with you all as the story unfolds.
