Now Is Good

Now Is Good Title Sequence

Now Is Good Brighton Pier Ol Parker's long awaited film 'Now Is Good' from Warner Bros., is now out on nationwide UK cinema release this week.

Starring Dakota Fanning the film is based on a teen novel by Jeremy Downham, about a young girl diagnosed with Leukaemia working her way through a bucket list of must-dos, including losing her virginity and taking drugs.

Filmed in Dean's hometown of Brighton, he had fun illustrating for our title sequence the familiar streets where he grew up. Below is the full sequence for you all to see and enjoy:

Bold strokes

On every piece of work where possible, whether it's film titles or branding, Dean and I like to research, adapt and draw our own typefaces. The reason is it's fun. It also makes for an individually designed font that is unique to the subject. Now is Good is no exception. Dean has gone to town on this, by creating a bold stroke logo and a complete alphabet using a good old pot of emulsion and his worn out tin of Caran D'ache!

This natural brush stroke works well over our title sequence, which we will reveal and illustrate to you later.
